The card for next month’s “ONE Championship 42: Kingdom of Champions” has started to take shape with a pair of title fights at the top of the event.
In the main event, strawweight champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke (6-0), the first Thai national in history to claim a world championship in MMA, will put his belt on the line against challenger Yoshitaka Naito (10-0), from Japan.
And in the co-feature, featherweight champ Marat Gafurov (13-0) puts his belt and perfect record up for grabs against Japan’s Kazunori Yokota (25-5-3). ONE Championship officials today announced the two title fights, as well as four other bouts for the card.
ONE Championship 42 takes place May 27 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, which is located in Amphoe Pak Kret, Nonthaburi Province, Thailand in the Bangkok suburbs. The card will stream via online pay-per-view and will be the promotion’s debut in Thailand.
